Our Vision and Mission

We are a family focused, Bible centred fellowship with a Mission Statement:
To glorify God, making disciples of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:42 "They devoted themselves to the apostles’ TEACHING and to FELLOWSHIP, to the BREAKING OF BREAD and to PRAYER." (NIV)

Our fellowship is characterised by friendliness, fun and food! Currently around 60-70 people meet on a Sunday morning, with separate programmes for different age groups. We seek to apply Bible based teaching to our lives. Our worship style is a mixture of old and new and a number of musicians take part in our services. We are located in Warminster town centre and our congregation is drawn from Warminster and the surrounding area. We also welcome military families who are stationed in the town, and international families.

WBC History

In 1810 a small group of local Christians built 'Ebenezer Chapel' in what was then Meeting House Lane, which later became North Row. The church hall alongside the Chapel was built in 1858. 'Ebenezer Chapel' then became known as North Row Baptist Church, and later changed its name to Warminster Baptist Church. The congregation gradually increased and a schoolroom was added, then in 2000 an extension was built, joining up the church and hall.
